Polymer Paper sorter

The paper Polymer Sorter uses a Near infra red Spectrometer and software developed by MAJEK Automation to identify PET, PVC, HDPE, PolyPropelyene, PolyStyrene, Nylon, ABS, Paper and many other polymers and organic materials. The customer can use the modular design of MAJEK Automation equipment to decide if they want targeted ejection or mass ejection or a simple alarm system.

The User interface is a touch screen as with many of MAJEK Automations equipment. The thresholds for each material can be adjusted by the operator or password protected. In this way the purity of the final product can be adjusted for maximum purity or maximum removal.

This system is optimized for a 700 millilitre conveyor width and a 50x50mm resolution. However the system can be adjusted to higher or lower resolution with corresponding lower or higher conveyor width.

There are no moving parts that come onto contact with the product in order to reduce wear and tear. The product is identified on a chute and removed using the Standard MAJEK Automation air ejection system.
